“Mission to mars” cinematic 3D animation

“Mission to Mars” is a 3D animation project I finished in April 2022. It took several months to complete and shows my personal vision of how a crewed mission to Mars might look, using the SpaceX Starship as the main vehicle.

The project was both a technical and creative challenge, combining realistic visualization with conceptual storytelling. It reflects how I imagined humanity’s first steps on Mars at the time and represents an important step in the growth of my 3D animation and visualisation skills.

The entire project was created in Blender, a tool I still use to this day for nearly all my visualizations. It continues to provide everything I need creatively and technically, without feeling limiting in any way. More recently, I’ve also started using EmberGen to enhance my volumetric visuals and achieve more dynamic, realistic effects.

Comission work

Over the past few years, I’ve worked on several commission projects for different clients. In the future, I plan to go into more detail about these projects here on my website, but below you can already find a selection of my work.

Most of the larger commissions are related to space exploration and the SpaceX Starship program. I’ve spent a significant amount of my own time and energy studying and visualizing these subjects, both out of personal interest and a genuine fascination with the future of human spaceflight.
